The second carbon neutrality and climate finance forum

As global climate warming continues, extreme weather events are occurring with increasing frequency, intensity, and simultaneity, affecting large areas. The frequent occurrence of abnormal climate phenomena not only impacts people’s daily lives but also has significant effects on the socio-economic and financial systems. Managing climate risks through socio-economic governance has become a focal point for many scholars.

To facilitate broader and deeper discussions on this issue, the second carbon neutrality and climate finance forum will be held on November 18, 2023, in Beijing. The forum is jointly organized by the ISETS Energy Finance Network and the Studies of Climate Finance, Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning, and Economical Mathematics, and hosted by the Carbon Neutrality and Climate Finance Laboratory of the Center for Virtual Economics and Data Science at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The forum will focus on topics related to climate risks and socio-economic governance. Experts, scholars, and professionals from various fields are warmly invited to submit papers and attend the conference.

The submission deadline is October 31. There is no registration fee for this conference, and participants will need to arrange their own transportation and accommodation. Please submit papers to: cncf2060@163.com.
