The 13 advisors and the president of the the Society for the Studies of Climate Finance have been selected as “Most Cited Chinese Researchers” by Elsevier in 2023

On March 27, 2024, Elsevier released the 2023 list of “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers.” Several Chairmans of the the Society for the Studies of Climate Finance, Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning, and Economical Mathematics were once again included in the list. Chairman Dayong Zhang was recognized in the discipline of Applied Economics, while Vice Chairman Yuejun Zhang was included in the discipline of Business Administration. Vice Chairmans Researcher Qiang Ji, Professor Qunwei Wang, and Professor Yudong Wang were recognized in the discipline of Management Science and Engineering.

Advisory Committee members of the Society for the Studies of Climate Finance, including Professors Bin Chen, Ying Fan, Jianping Li, Boqiang Lin, Shouyang Wang, Zhaohua Wang, Zhongxiang Zhang, and Peng Zhou, were all listed in the rankings.

The list is based on Scopus, a globally authoritative citation and index database, as the source for Chinese scholars’ research achievements. Using a method developed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, it systematically showcases the current distribution of talent in China’s research fields. It also accurately presents the strengths of various institutions and universities, the composition of key disciplines, and academic influence, as well as identifying top talents in critical technologies and major fields. A total of 5,801 individuals from 496 universities, enterprises, and research institutions made it to this year’s list, covering 84 primary disciplines within 10 fields designated by the Ministry of Education.
