The ISETS Energy Finance Network (IEFN) was established through the collaborative efforts of Professor Qiang Ji and Professor Dayong Zhang’s teams. Functioning as an academic platform, IEFN facilitates cutting-edge scientific exchange and collaboration within the energy finance domain, boasting a robust and extensive academic communication network. Following unanimous agreement among core members, the alliance has implemented a new organizational structure, incorporating a team joining system and a rotational management system. Professor Qiang Ji has been elected as the inaugural rotational chairman, with Professors Qunwei Wang, Yudong Wang, and Yuejun Zhang serving as rotational vice-chairmen. A dedicated secretariat has been instituted, with responsibilities entrusted to young academic elites. The alliance comprises eight core teams, including CREM (based at Hunan University), DEEPER (based at the Chinese Academy of Sciences), EECSM (based at China University of Geosciences, Beijing), EEF (based at Nanjing University of Science and Technology), FORE3ST (based at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics), GDP (based at Wuhan University), IETS (based in Australia), and TIERS (based at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics).​
