The first carbon neutrality and climate finance forum

As the impact of global warming on human society draws widespread attention, actively addressing climate change has become an international consensus. In 2020, China proposed its “dual carbon” development goals and further emphasized the strategic need for promoting low-carbon and green transformation in the report from the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party. In this development process, corporate actions are crucial, as the transformation of their operational models is a key support for achieving the nation’s long-term climate action targets.

With global research advancing on topics such as corporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance, information disclosure, and ESG investment, this forum will focus on the impact of climate change on corporate behavior. It will explore cutting-edge issues in both theoretical and empirical research, examine internal and external environmental factors influencing businesses, and aim to provide a foundation for the development of related policies.

This forum marks the first event of the carbon neutrality and climate finance forum. Through paper presentations and roundtable discussions, the forum will address key research issues and aims to promote progress in this field.
