On April 26, Dayong Zhang, Vice Chairman of International Society for Energy Transition Studies, Chairman of the Society for the Studies of Climate Finance, Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning, and Economical Mathematics, and Professor at the Institute of Economics and Management of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, along with his delegation, visited China Carbon Emission Registry (CCER) for discussions and exchanges. Zhang and his team were received by Zhixiang Chen, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Carbon Emission Registry.
At the meeting, both parties exchanged information about their respective work and engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as energy transition, climate finance, think tank alliance development, “Double carbon Targets” (Carbon peaking and Carbon neutrality) course development, and talent cultivation. They reached a preliminary consensus on conducting comprehensive and in-depth cooperation.
